Personally, I prefer to leave the posters a standard 8.5 x 11 size. My thinking is that I don't need someone to be able to read them from across the room. Instead I want them to be a resource students can use when browsing the library. Therefore, a standard size is perfect. The posters, however, can be enlarged. For directions how to make posters using your printer, read my blog post on the topic.
Love polka dots? This calendar is for you!
This kit contains 4 complete polka dot sets in various black, red and white polka dot combinations. Note this kit does not contain a background poster which most calendars are usually applied to.
Each set contains: Calendar number cards 1 - 31, 12 month cards and 7 day of the week cards. The 12 months and days of the week come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The idea is to mix and match the various polka dot color combinations to create your on unique calender!
These materials can be used for other labeling projects in your classroom too! Do you have cubbies or coat hooks? Why not use the calendar numbers to label? The mini days of the week can easily be used for labeling file trays to help organize the week’s activities? The possibilities are endless.
